I wanted to share this on the blog and it will also be on the website. One of my customers is wanting to sell a wonderful early penny rug. She is asking $225 (plus shipping). It is a unique rug measuring 36" x 21"; it is done in mostly dark blues and grays; it has a crocheted edging. It was purchased at an estate sale in VA years ago. The note with it stated that it had been done by "Grandmother Brubaker"- along with some other info. The backing is done with old denim.
